♥ Thank you to the 53 committed volunteers at our Stand for Freedom protest in Fayetteville on March 7. We stood strong together!
♥ Thank you to the 13 volunteers at Wednesday’s protest in Morrow (Clayton County) on Mach 4. Our new location at the corner of Mt. Zion and Jonesboro Road was full of honks, thumbs up, and waves. Two community members spontaneously joined our protest and became members. Welcome, Adan and Kenya!
♥ Thank you to the 71 dedicated and spirited protesters in Griffin (Spalding County) on Saturday, February 28.
♥ Thank you to the 23 protesters at Deyton Detention Center (Clayton County) on February 26.
♥ Our ICE Out! High School Student Protest and Rally (Lamar County), on Monday, February 16, was a wonderful event. We had 38 attendees, a mix of activist students and adults. Held at Ritz Park in Barnesville, the event included sign making, street protesting, student speeches, voter registration, food, and fun activities. In this engaging 2.5 hour event, we built a strong community of youth and adults seeking peace and justice together.

We're adjourning early to encourage everyone to go to Maura Keller's U.S. Representative campaign kickoff and fundraiser at the American legion's log cabin in downtown Fayetteville until 8:30pm.
