Welcome to Southern Crescent Indivisible of Georgia!

We are a diverse, dedicated, and volunteer group of individuals who believe in a real democracy—of, by, and for the people.

We work tirelessly to resist Trump and the GOP’s multi-decade right-wing takeover of the American government. To do so, we plan, organize, and participate in street protests, town halls, rallies, phone campaigns, letter/postcard campaigns, and qualified candidate recruitment and volunteer support.

Southern Crescent Indivisible of Georgia is non-partisan volunteer organization that promotes civic engagement to strengthen democracy in Butts, Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Pike, Spalding, and Upson counties.

Thank you to the 12 members at our morning commute protest in Fayetteville on Wednesday and the 26 protesters at our Saturday morning protest in Griffin (Spalding County).

As protesters, we are protecting our democracy and sharing messages of strength and hope.

Georgia’s special legislative session to redraw our state’s congressional and legislative maps begins on June 17. Please immediately call the governor and your state representative and senator. Suggested script: “As your constituent, I demand you reject unfair maps that further the systemic racism that plagues Georgia. Our state constitution requires contiguous districts and equal treatment.”
